Anthony Paul Vasquez, 47, a loving husband, father and son passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family in Tacoma.

Anthony was born Oct. 8, 1965 in Sunnyside to Dorothy Gamboa and Antonio Vasquez.

Anthony's passion in life was being with his family and friends, particularly his many cousins.

His hobbies were steelhead fishing, golfing, gardening and entertaining his family and friends with his wonderful indoor and outdoor cooking.

Anthony attended and graduated from Sunnyside High School during which time he met and later married his wife, Justina Newhouse.

Anthony will forever be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and son always willing to help others in need. His smile, laughter and carefree spirit will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Justina Vasquez; his three sons, Joshua, Caleb and Isaac Vasquez; his mother, Dorothy Gamboa; stepfather, Aaron Louis of Sunnyside; his father, Antonio Vasquez of Seattle; and siblings, Leo Vasquez and Rose Vasquez, both of Olympia, and Eva Vasquez of Seattle.

Viewing and Holy Rosary will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 7 p.m., with funeral services to be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 11 a.m., both at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 17856 NE Woodinville-Duvall Rd., Woodinville.
