PROSSER – Danielle McKeirnan is a senior at Prosser High School and is planning “A Walk in Winter Wonderland Bazaar” to benefit both youngsters with disabilities and Sacred Heart Church.
McKeirnan wants to work with disabled children when she finishes college, so she decided to donate 10 percent of the proceeds from the bazaar to Catholic Children and Family Services for the purpose of assisting children with disabilities.
The other 90 percent of the funds will be donated to the Prosser church for a kitchen renovation.
The bazaar will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Sacred Heart Church, located at 1905 Highland Dr. in Prosser.
More than 30 vendors will be at the event, including Premier Design Jewelry, Sage Bluff Alpacas, Vault Denim, 31, Pampered Chef, Scentsy and numerous local artists.
A silent auction will also take place during the bazaar, as will a bake sale.
Lunch will be available at the cost of $7. Soup, bread and pie will be on the menu.
