Burglars hit Lower Valley

Yakima County Sheriff deputies have responded to three burglary calls since last Friday morning.

A victim in the 1300 block of Cherry Lane near Grandview reported a television, Xbox game console and speakers missing Friday afternoon. Saturday night a victim in the 1100 block of Bagley Drive near Sunnyside reported two televisions and a PS3 game console stolen. Another burglary was reported from the 4500 block of Independence Road near Sunnyside.

A theft of money was also reported to deputies Sunday afternoon from the 200 block of Brewer Road near Grandview.

Deputies also took a report of a stolen vehicle Saturday morning. The 2008 Infinity was later recovered.

Since last Friday morning deputies also have handled a report of malicious mischief, four automatic alarms, a report of a runaway juvenile, two domestic calls, a report of an animal problem, a report of suspicious activity, a vehicle accident report and a complaint of custodial interference that turned out to be unfounded.

In that time deputies also provided an agency assist and assistance to citizens twice.
