Sunnyside’s Holy Trinity Episcopal will be hosting its extremely popular Holiday Treasures Bazaar Saturday, Nov. 16. Local residents are invited to grab a friend and trek to the Fourth Street and Edison Avenue church, then grab a cup of coffee and homemade cinnamon roll while browsing through the elegant baked goods, breads, pickles, preserves, candy and numerous other offerings for their holiday tables.
The Nov. 16 bazaar, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will also feature a myriad of gift selections for the holiday season. Handcrafted items, stocking stuffers, alpaca wool apparel, scarves and other unique creations will be on display and available for purchase.
Church spokesman Carol Mercer also notes that Jane Swindell has again designed and made a beautiful quilt that will go to one lucky winner in the annual church raffle. Other goodies from the Lower Yakima Valley will also be awarded during the raffle. The raffle tickets are currently being sold by church members and at the church office, and will be available for purchase during the Nov. 16 bazaar.
Holiday Treasures Bazaar organizers are also planning on serving luncheon fare that day, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu features Christmas quiche, salad and a beverage.
