Grandview police kept busy

GRANDVIEW – This past weekend was extremely busy for Grandview police, who investigated three reports of theft since last Friday morning, made two traffic stops resulting in arrests in that time and also responded to a car prowl Friday night.

Since last Friday morning officers have also responded to three automatic alarms, four reports of traffic hazards, two reports of parking problems, two reports of hit and run accidents, a report of illegal burning, four requests for assistance from citizens, three noise complaints and a runaway juvenile.

In that time police also investigated five incidents of malicious mischief, a civil matter, a report of a domestic issue, two reports of fraud and two reports of suspicious activity.

Grandview police made two arrests of wanted persons, made a DUI arrest, served a court order and made an arrest on an obstruction charge over the weekend as well.

Since last Friday officers also took six informational calls, provided assistance to two other agencies and conducted a welfare check.
