Sunnyside’s Kaitlyn Stevens bested Matt Shannon of Grandview in last week’s Lower Valley Merchants Football Forecast Contest.
Stevens, Shannon and Juan Sanchez of Las Vegas, Nev. were the only three entrants to miss calling the winners of just three games. Stevens took the first place $50 prize thanks to her tiebreaker score prediction, leaving Shannon in second place with a three-month subscription to the Daily Sun News. Sanchez will have to try his luck again next week or on the Vegas strip.
There are only three weeks left in this year’s 40th annual contest, but still time to get your entry in and try for the weekly $50 cash prize.
You can enter the football forecast contest by filling out the form on the printed page in today’s paper and dropping it by the Daily Sun News office at 600 S.
