The Grandview Church of the Nazarene is once again this week home to the Washington State Grape Society’s annual meeting and its 175 registered attendees. The church’s gym was transformed into a trade show area that featured vendors like Ben Dover and his Orchard Guard birdhouses for Kestrels to aid in pest management (above). Also on-hand was Yakima Valley Community College with a display booth about its vineyard and winery technology program on the Grandview campus. Catherine Jones, a grant director with the school, visits with family farmers David Golladay (L) and Don Golladay about the program.
