Freezing for a cause

Members of the Sunnyside High School Key Club last Friday braved the cold weather in an effort to raise money for Lower Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. The club exceeded its goal of $300, raising more than $1,000 to benefit the local hospice center. Pictured at the annual freeze out are (L-R) Jayleen Leon, Jaqueline Kranz and Andre Cavazos. Because of below freezing temperatures the fundraiser ended early, but another one is planned for later in the season.
