Busy weekend for G’view cops

GRANDVIEW – Police in Grandview are investigating a fire that was reported last Friday night in the 600 block of East Wine Country Road.

Police are also investigating two theft reports from stores, one made Friday afternoon and the other Saturday afternoon.

A car prowl was also reported to police Saturday afternoon from West Second Street near Compass High School.

Since last Friday morning Grandview police have also investigated six reports of suspicious activity, a report of a utility problem, two noise complaints, a report of malicious mischief, four complaints of animal noise, a hit and run accident, a report of a runaway juvenile, a report of a domestic problem, a report of illegal burning and a civil matter.

In that time officers also responded to two automatic alarms, provided seven agency assists, arrested a wanted person, handled an intoxicated person, took an informational call, conducted four welfare checks and provided assistance to citizens twice.
