Grandview cops don’t get holiday rest

GRANDVIEW – Police in Grandview did not have a peaceful Thanksgiving. Officers responded to 20 incidents yesterday (Thursday), including a noise complaint, four reports of suspicious activity, an automatic alarm, a report of a weapon offense, two informational calls and a report of a domestic dispute.

Since Wednesday morning police have also conducted three transports, handled three animal problems, provided two agency assists, arrested two wanted persons, responded to three reports of traffic problems, investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up call, conducted a welfare check, provided assistance to a citizen, handled three disputes between citizens, found lost property, served a warrant and responded to two reports of parking problems.
