KLICKITAT – The Bickleton Lady Pirates lost to the Klickitat Vandals last Friday in three sets, 25-12, 25-8, 25-21.

“Without our other main setter, Daniela Smith, we were using a new rotation and had trouble getting into our groove,” said Bickleton Coach Katie Leuthauser.

Sydnie Obanion led the Lady Pirates with a 13-for-14 performance from the service line, including four aces.

Bickleton’s Lindsay Brown was 7-for-8 serving with three blocks at the net and nine kills.

Lady Pirate Shaylee Tharp contributed an 8-for-8 serving performance with six assists.

“I hope our home court can get us back on our feet,” said Leuthauser.

Bickleton (2-2) hosts the Mabton JV team tonight, Oct. 7, and Yakama Tribal tomorrow, Oct. 8.
