Fall Harvest Festival set for Saturday

GRANDVIEW - Tomorrow (Saturday) the Grandview High School DECA chapter will be hosting its first-ever Fall Harvest Festival.

This event is co-sponsored by the Grandview Parks and Recreation Department and Teddy Bear Corner, Inc.

The event will feature carnival games, hay rides, a “Great Pumpkin” with photographs, face painting, concessions and more.  

The carnival games are for children between the ages of 2 and 7, but those attending are urged to bring the entire family for a day of fun and excitement.

Admission is free with tickets available for purchase for carnival activities.

More than 150 students from Grandview High School are currently signed up to work at the event.

Several other clubs will also be involved and contributing to the event, including but not limited to FFA, FCCLA and Key Club.

Tomorrow’s event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grandview Community Center, located at 812 Wallace Way in Grandview.
