Family fall craft night to be held at Sunnyside Community Center

The Sunnyside Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a family craft night, celebrating autumn.

On Thursday, Oct. 24, community members are urged to celebrate the fall season by creating a variety of crafts at the Sunnyside Community Center. Being crafted will be scary bats, spooky spider webs and jack-o-lanterns.

The first 75 people to arrive will have an opportunity to carve pumpkins to create the lantern of their choice.

The event is free to attend.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.

The event is also an opportunity to learn more about what the Sunnyside Parks and Recreation Department has planned in the coming months.

The Oct. 24 event will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Sunnyside Community Center.

Those with questions can call 836-0230.
