Last Saturday, 34 youngsters participated in a forensic science camp organized by Sunnyside High School senior Alicia Noyola for her senior project. Above, Noyola shows a group of young criminal investigators how to conduct a powder analysis of substances found at a staged crime scene. At left, Sara Waywell uses a mirror application for lip printing techniques. The campers analyzed fingerprints, DNA and blood spatter, as well.
