Sunnyside’s annual Lighted Farm Implement Parade Committee invites the public to submit nominations for grand marshal for the 25th annual event.
Nominees must be, or have been, associated with the local agriculture industry. Nominations should consist of a letter of recommendation, including a brief description of the nominee’s contributions to agriculture and the community.
Include a contact name and telephone number, as well as the address and telephone number of the nominee.
Nominations for the parade grand marshal must be received by the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce no later than Monday, Nov. 18.
Mail nominations to the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 360, Sunnyside, WA 98944, email to email@example.com or deliver nomination letters to the chamber office, located at 451 S. Sixth St.
This year’s parade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, at 6:30 p.m.
The 25th annual Lighted Farm Implement Parade will start at Sixth Street and Warehouse Avenue in downtown Sunnyside. The parade proceeds south on Sixth Street, east on Edison Avenue and across Yakima Valley Highway to Golob Landing.
