Magaly Barocio Valderas, 22, of Grandview passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Magaly was born Feb. 13, 1992 in Apatzingan, Mexico, the daughter of Angelica Barocio.
She received her education at Mabton High School and graduated with the Class of 2010. After graduation Magaly worked for Skippers and was a CNA Home Health Care Provider.
Magaly cherished time with her son, Joel Adrian Roman Jr.
Magaly was a hard worker, enjoyed dancing, listening to music, joking and going out with friends.
She is survived by her son, Joel Adrian Roman Jr. of Grandview; her mother, Angelica Barocio of Grandview; two sisters, Engie Hernandez and Yasmin Hernandez, both of Grandview; two brothers, Kevin Hernandez and Ivan Barocio, both of Grandview; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Magaly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maria Banderas and Martel Barocio.
Viewing and visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 6, 2014, from 1 to 8 p.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 7, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
