Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’ free of charge on April 15

TOPPENISH – Heritage University will present Shakespeare’s “Othello,” as performed by the Seattle Shakespeare Company, on Tuesday, April 15, at 5:30 p.m.

The performance will be held at Smith Family Hall, which is located inside the Arts and Sciences Center on the Toppenish-area campus.

Two other events are scheduled as part of the “Othello” performance: an interactive cast dialogue – Smith Family Hall, noon-1 p.m., where            cast members will be available to answer questions from the audience; and a pre-performance lecture at HU Village, Rm. 2900B, from 4 to 5 p.m. Paula Collucci will discuss the major themes of “Othello,” and help audience members understand what to expect from the play.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are free and available at the Heritage University Toppenish campus at the   College of Arts and Sciences office, the Heritage library and the bookstore.
