Swap meet set for early May

KENNEWICK – Looking for something to do on Saturday, May 3? Try the 38th annual Tri-Cities Swap Meet at the Kennewick fairgrounds.

Admission is free and the hours are from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Donations will, though, be accepted at the gate that day, to be used to fund an automotive scholarship.

Those who attend the swap meet are asked to use the 10th Street fairgrounds gate.

Jim Ayers of the Ye Olde Car Club, sponsors of the swap meet, suggests arriving early for the best selection.

Food vendors will be on site with breakfast and lunch menus.

“If you have unwanted auto parts or miscellaneous items around the house, bring them to the swap meet and turn them into cash. Just buy a space and display your goods,” said Ayers.

Reservation forms for vendors are available on-line at WWW.YOCC.ORG.
