Grandview celebrated Arbor Day this past Wednesday at Dykstra Park with its 17th consecutive Tree City USA award. The event received help from the ABC Pre-School and Grandview Middle School (We Day Students). A total of six trees were planted, including four maples, one flowering pear and one flowering crabapple. Brian Cramer of Benton County PUD (pictured with Mayor Norm Childress and local children) was on hand to lead the group in a tree planting demonstration.
