Women’s luncheon meeting to get ‘creative’

PROSSER – “Creative Ways” is the theme of the next luncheon meeting of the Lower Valley Christian Women’s Connection.

Scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Barn Restaurant in Prosser, the luncheon will have a special feature in which Marilyn Dalstra from The Sewing Basket shares easy sewing crafts for gift giving.

Also, singer and songwriter Debbie Skinner will perform some of her original numbers.

The luncheon speaker will be Tanja Gorham, a retired dialysis technician from Island City, Ore., presenting the drama, Grandma’s Letters.

The luncheon will from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $12 per person. Registrations are required, and can be handled by calling Lucy at 882-2365, Kristi at 894-4610 or Betty at 786-1949.
