Valentine’s deliveries at high school will benefit SHS seniors’ grad party

This year Sunnyside High School has incorporated a new policy regarding all Valentine’s deliveries.

There will be a $2 fee for each item delivered to students at the school on Thursday, Feb. 13.

That fee will be used to support the class of 2014 graduation party, according to Holly Ohler, the director of SHS’s director of career and technical education.

All deliveries made on Feb. 13 must arrive before 1 p.m.

Ohler said deliveries are being made on Thursday since there is no school on Valentine’s Day.

She reminds the community that flowers, candy, balloons and glass will not be allowed on school buses.
