Deputies kept busy

Yakima County Sheriff deputies have been busy in the Lower Valley the last two days, including handling five different reports of animal problems, three traffic incidents and two reports of malicious mischief.

Deputies have also investigated a theft, a utility problem, two reports of suspicious activity, an automatic alarm and two reports of trespassing since Monday morning.

On Monday deputies also arrested a wanted person.

Yesterday, Tuesday, deputies provided assistance to a citizen, conducted two welfare checks and assisted Grandview police after a burglary report in the 500 block of Ismo Court.
