Board approves staff changes

GRANDVIEW – In action last night, Monday, the Grandview School Board approved several changes in staffing.

They include giving a nod to parapro David Parker’s retirement and special education secretary Ruth Villanueva’s resignation.

The board also approved hiring Gear Up AVID tutor Frankie Medina and middle school night custodian Enrique Plata.

New coaching hires given the go-ahead were high school softball assistants Vanessa Medina and Ernestina Fraga.

Also receiving a thumbs up were sports volunteers Robert Cervantes, middle school track; Choncy Pena, high school softball; along with boys high school soccer volunteers Adrian Morales, Robert Rios and Rodolfo Diaz.
