Grandview School Board approves staff changes

GRANDVIEW – The Grandview School Board approved a large number of recommendations for employment with the district during last Monday night’s meeting.

Approved for employment were: Melody Hamm, K-5 math/reading tutor teacher, Harriet Thompson Elementary; Leigh Cooper, K-5 math/reading tutor teacher, Harriet Thompson Elementary; Aurora Cruz, PLC leader, McClure Elementary; Jami Jech, PLC leader, McClure Elementary; Anne Holden, PLC leader, McClure Elementary; Patricia Reyes, PLC leader, McClure Elementary; Shawna Jech, PLC leader, McClure Elementary; Gloria Dickie, PLC leader, McClure Elementary; Kyle Gilliss, WE day advisor, Grandview High School; Joe Edwards-Hoff, WE day advisor, Grandview High School; Kimberly Gregory, WE day advisor, Compass High School; Kara Johnson, .6 hour PE/health teacher, Compass High School; Joyce Golob and Michelle Ross, WE day advisors, Grandview Middle School.

The board also accepted the resignations of Alys Means, first grade teacher, McClure Elementary: Kara Johnson, .6 hour PE/health teacher, Compass High School: and Michaela Leyendekker, librarian, Harriet Thompson Elementary.

The board also approved the following classified staff changes: Alma Ildelfonso, special education CNA, Smith Elementary; Kathy Tobin, 4.5 hour cashier/kitchen assistant, Compass High School; along with the resignations of Daniel Miller, custodian, Middle School, and Tara Mendoza, drama advisor, Grandview High School.

The board also accepted the resignations of Grandview High School golf coach Dave and Carlos Rodriguez, the high school JV softball coach during last Monday night’s meeting.
