GRANDVIEW – The city of Grandview and Teamsters Local No. 760 have agreed upon a contract for the city’s public works employees.
The two-year agreement includes a 2 percent general wage increase in 2014. The employees will receive another 2 percent increase in January 2015 and a 1 percent increase on July 1, 2015.
The city will pay $617 in monthly medical insurance premiums for an employee and as much as $1,720 for an employee, spouse and children.
The contract will expire on Dec. 31, 2015.
The city council approved the agreement by a 4-0 vote during its consent agenda.
