Sunnyside cops kept busy with suspicious incident reports

Sunnyside police were kept busy Thursday investigating a variety of suspicious circumstances.

Among the incidents was a report of a juvenile trespassing on school property in the 800 block of South 16th Street. According to the report, the youth has been suspended from school, but was attempting to attend an afterschool event.

Another suspicious incident involved a report of an individual seen urinating in front of an Upland Drive residence.

Police also investigated a report of an unknown vehicle parked in a neighborhood in the 200 block of Southwest Crescent Avenue.

Officers also investigated a report of an unwanted individual in a resident’s back yard in the 500 block of Reeves Way.

In other activity police also investigated three animal complaints, one report of shoplifting, one harassment complaint, one juvenile problem and two traffic incidents.

Additionally, officers provided six agency assists, recovered one stolen vehicle and made three welfare checks during the past 24 hours.
