Breaking News: Man shot to death in cab of pickup

Luck of the draw

Taking a break from his busy day, Sunnyside’s Kerry Turley relaxes as American Red Cross phlebologist Tilea Green prepares to draw his blood as part of Wednesday’s blood drive. Turley said he has been donating blood since he was in the Army in the early 1970s. “We used to get a day off to donate blood,” he said. “Now we get cookies and juice,” he grinned. Wednesday’s blood drawing was held at Sunnyside’s Masonic Temple.
