Fender-benders in Sunnyside

Sunnyside police have investigated three non-injury accidents since Monday.

Yesterday, officers investigated a two-vehicle accident reported from the 800 block of East Edison Avenue. Monday afternoon, officers also investigated a two-car collision reported in the intersection of South 13th Street and East Edison Avenue, and a two-car accident reported from the 1000 block of East Lincoln Avenue.

Officers also investigated a report of a theft of four pairs of shoes, valued at $100, from a shoe store located in the 2000 block of Yakima Valley Highway. Police have the names of two female suspects, both of whom they have been unable to locate.

Police are also investigating a report of a stolen IPad from the 900 block of North 16th Street.

In activity reported since last Monday, police have also investigated six animals, complaints, five juvenile problems, two assaults, one fraud report, one report of lost property, two harassment calls, one report of illegal dumping, one report of an intoxicated person, one report of unsecured property, seven reports of suspicious circumstances and conducted seven traffic stops.

Officers also provided three agency assists, fielded eight informational calls, made seven welfare checks, one citizen assist and served one arrest warrant, as well as a court order.
