Electronics stolen from Grandview home

GRANDVIEW – Police in Grandview are investigating a burglary reported yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) in the 600 block of Hillcrest Road. Police said the burglars forced entry through a rear door and stole a computer and other electronics.

Police also are investigating a report of a slashed tire on a car parked in the 600 block of North Fourth Street. The incident was reported just after 1 p.m. yesterday.

Last night officers also responded to a report of a fight near the intersection of West Fifth Street and South Euclid Road. The suspects were uncooperative when police arrived.

Police arrested an 18-year-old male driver last night on unspecified charges, then obtained a warrant and searched his vehicle for drugs after it was impounded.

Since yesterday morning police have also handled three reports of animal problems, two noise complaints, a report of a runaway juvenile, a report of a juvenile problem, a report of suspicious activity, responded to an automatic alarm and conducted a welfare check.
