Sunnyside GOP club’s candidate forums open to all

The Sunnyside Republican Club will host several 7 a.m. meetings open to the public at Bon Vino’s Bistro & Bakery, featuring numerous candidates for public office.

This coming Friday, June 13, the featured speakers will be Micah Cawley, who is vying for the Yakima County auditor’s seat; Yakima County clerk candidates Jose Trevino and Janelle Riddle; and Brian Winter, who is seeking to serve as Yakima County sheriff.

On Friday, June 27, sheriff’s candidates Stephan Changala, Rick Mottice and Jeff Ketchum will address those attending the meeting. Also speaking at the meeting will be county clerk candidates Sarah Matheny and Kathleen Carter.

Charles Ross and Kyle Freeborn, county auditor candidates, will be among the speakers at the Friday, July 11, meeting. Steve Driscoll, a county clerk candidate; and sheriff candidates Anthony Bosworth and Jim Keightly will also be speaking at the July 11 meeting.

Any and all members of the public can attend these meetings in an effort to hear from the candidates seeking to be elected to office this year.
