Consultant agreement gains approval

YAKIMA – An agreement between Yakima County and JHDavenport LLC of Buena was approved this week by the Yakima County Commission.

Consulting services will be provided to the Yakima Valley Groundwater Management Area group under the agreement.

James H. Davenport, the owner and principle employee of JHDavenport LLC, will assist the director of Yakima County’s department of public services in the performance of the county’s activities as the lead agency for the Lower Valley Groundwater Management Area.

The consulting firm will be paid at the rate of $4,500 per month for the services in addition to out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result of the work. That work shall include technical, professional and clerical services.

The county will also pay the consultant for travel, meals and lodging related to the work.
