Tuesday quiet for S’side cops

Sunnyside police had a quiet Tuesday investigating a handful of animal complaints and suspicious activities reported from around Sunnyside neighborhoods.

Officers investigated animal complaints in the area of Olive Street and South Second Street, the 500 block of Harrison Road and 700 block of South Seventh Street. No details regarding the type of animals was available.

Police also investigated suspicious circumstances reported in the 1000 block of South 11th Street, the 100 block of Parkland Drive, the 600 block of South Seventh Street and in the 600 block of South Fourth Street, near Central Park.

A noise complaint in the 400 block of West South Hill Road was also investigated by police yesterday.

Additionally, police provided one agency assist, one citizen assist, made one welfare check and served one court order during the past 24 hours.
