Horse vaccinations available in late March

GRANDVIEW - An equine vaccination clinic, sponsored by the Wine Country Riders, will be held Saturday, March 22, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Grandview Country Park and Fairgrounds, Wallace Way. 

Available for sale at the clinic will be vaccines for West Nile virus at the cost of $25, or a combination WNV and 5-way immunizations, available for $52. 

Horse owners may bring their horse or mule to the clinic and have the vaccines administered by a veterinarian or take the doses home and administer them personally. Administering the vaccinations will be Dr. Ernie Munck, D.V.M.

Also available for purchase will be a six-month Health Certificate/Coggins Test combo. The horse must be available for this test.
