Police station, museum plans get funding

GRANDVIEW – The Grandview City Council at Tuesday’s meeting approved task orders that will allow Huibregtse, Louman Associates to proceed with a planning study for a new police department and preliminary designs for a new museum.

The funding for the projects was set aside when the council approved the city’s 2014 budget.

Approximately $16,500 was approved for the planning study for a new police station and $11,000 was approved for the preliminary design of a new museum.

Council approved the task orders unanimously.
