YAKIMA – The Yakima Area Arboretum will be hosting its annual Arbor Festival “A Walk in the Woods” on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During the event, visitors can discover some of the many activities on tap throughout the arboretum. The activities involve outdoor adventures, such as bird watching and animal tracking, as well as harvesting mushrooms.
The event is free to all visitors, providing family-friendly learning opportunities for all ages.
There will be free trees available for 600 families to take home for planting, as well.
