Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Patrick Corbett and Sunnyside Community Hospital Auxiliary President Debbie Amos display the new Glidescope that was recently obtained for the hospital’s anesthesia department. The fiber optic, illuminated scope was purchased with proceeds raised at last November’s Festival of Trees event, hosted by the Sunnyside Community Hospital Auxiliary. The Glidescope helps visualize the airway of patients with compromised airways. The scope has already been used several times to help with patient intubations.
