Woman reportedly threatens tow truck driver with a pistol

Last night (Thursday) just after 6:30 p.m. Sunnyside police rushed to the 600 block of Reeves Way for a report of a female brandishing a weapon at a tow truck driver. It was reported the suspect had a pistol.

Police located the suspect and cited her for brandishing a weapon, according to Sgt. Scott Bailey.

Officers since yesterday have also investigated a shoplifting incident, an automatic alarm, three animal complaints, a domestic violence incident, a reported fraud, a juvenile problem, a runaway juvenile report, six suspicious activity calls, a non-injury motor vehicle mishap and a reported trespassing incident.

Sunnyside police, too, provided two agencies and two citizens with assistance, served an arrest warrant, attempted to locate an individual wanted by authorities, served a court order, fielded three informational calls, provided four welfare checks and made four public service stops.
