Unlocked door gives burglars easy access to Outlook home

Yakima County Sheriff deputies are investigating a burglary report made Wednesday afternoon from the 1000 block of Kellum Road near Outlook. The victims reported that televisions, game consoles, jewelry, a computer and a rifle were stolen from the location. The burglars apparently entered through an unlocked door.

Wednesday morning deputies headed to the intersection of Dekker and Van Belle roads after a report of two large, black bulls in the roadway. The animals were rounded up and returned to their owners.

Yesterday (Thursday) deputies received a report of a theft from the 8700 block of Emerald Road near Sunnyside. Further information on the incident was not available.

Since Wednesday morning, deputies have also responded to two reports of suspicious activity, a report of a runaway juvenile, a citizen complaint, a civil matter, two requests for welfare checks, two reports of abuse and two traffic incidents.
