Police seek suspects in robbery

Sunnyside police are investigating a robbery at gunpoint report which occurred last night, Tuesday, in the 200 block of South Seventh Street.

The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m., when a suspect reportedly displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect, police say, fled the scene, taking the victim’s laptop. The suspect, witnesses reported, fled in a small older black-colored car with tinted windows last seen traveling southbound on Seventh Street. Two males reportedly occupied the vehicle.

In other activity reported during the past 24 hours, police investigated one animal complaint, a report of a fraud, a harassment complaint, a report of disorderly conduct, conducted five traffic stops and arrested three individuals related to trespassing complaints.

Officers also provided five agency assists, served two arrest warrants, made two citizen assists, fielded four informational calls and made two welfare checks.
