GRANDVIEW – A home in the 1000 block of Carriage Square Drive was broken into overnight and reported to police early this morning (Wednesday).
According to Grandview police the back door was forced open and jewelry and electronics were taken. The thieves also found the keys to a 2011 Chevy Impala, which was also stolen.
Yesterday morning officers also made an arrest while investigating a report of malicious mischief. According to police, officers observed stolen street signs inside a home in the 300 block of Forsell Road during the investigation and arrested the homeowner on charges of possession of stolen property.
Yesterday afternoon police received a report that males subjects were offering to smoke marijuana with others in the 100 block of Avenue G. Officers did not locate the suspects.
Last night police responded to a report of a fight between two males in the 800 block of Esperanza Court. The suspects were not located.
Yesterday morning police also took a report of graffiti in the 1000 block of Acoma Drive.
Since yesterday morning police have also handled three traffic incidents, three reports of suspicious activity, a complaint about animal noise, a fire service call and a report of trespassing. In that time officers also provided assistance to citizens twice and arrested a person wanted by authorities.
