GRANDVIEW – Residents in the 300 block of Ash Avenue have been violating city ordinances when parking on the street from 3 to 6 a.m.
That will no longer be the case with the removal of parking restrictions on that block.
Grandview Police Chief Kal Fuller said citizens living in homes and apartments there were concerned and questioned him about the restrictions.
“It made no sense to me either,” he told the Grandview City Council this past Tuesday.
Fuller recommended removing the restriction and limiting the parking restrictions to the 100 and 200 blocks of Ash Avenue, which is part of the downtown business core. The council members approved the change.
