Children 18 years old and younger can receive meals this summer at no charge through the simplified summer food program.
The summer-time meal program is being sponsored by the Sunnyside School District.
Meals will be available at four locations in Sunnyside. All food must be consumed on site and no outside food can be brought to the sites.
From Monday, June 16, until Friday, Aug. 8, lunch will be served at the Sunnyside Community Center at South Hill Park (1521 S. 1st St.) every Monday through Friday. There will be no lunch served on Friday, July 4.
Chief Kamiakin Elementary School (1700 E. Lincoln Ave.) will be serving breakfast from 7:15 to 8 a.m. and lunch from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. every Monday through Thursday starting Tuesday, June 24, and ending Thursday, July 24.
Sierra Vista Elementary School (916 N. 16th St.) will be serving breakfast from 7:15 to 8 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. until noon Monday through Thursday, starting Tuesday, June 24, and ending Thursday, July 24.
Sunnyside High School (1801 E. Edison Ave.) will be serving meals for drama camp from Monday, June 16, to Friday, June 20. A morning snack will be served between 9:55 and 10:15 a.m. and lunch will be served between 12:15 and 12:45 p.m.
Adults may eat with children for $2.25 for breakfast or $3.50 for lunch. Milk is included in the price.
