Jose Lopez, 35, of East Wenatchee and a former Lower Valley resident, died on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014.
He was born in Jalisco, Mexico to Miguel Francisco Lopez and Alicia Avalos.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Lopez; his children, Isaias, Evan, Aixa, Zion and Eliel, all of East Wenatchee, his parents, Miguel Francisco Lopez and Alicia Avalos of Grandview; his siblings, Livier Lopez, Juan Carlos Lopez, Dioselina Lopez and Julian Lopez, all of Grandview, Miguel Angel Lopez of Pasco, Cynthia Crystal DeLeon and Pedro “David” DeLeon of East Wenatchee, and Laura Lopez, Miguel Lopez and Novim Lopez, all of Sunnyside; and his grandparents, Jose Luis Villa of California and Ines Lopez of Mexico.
Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, from 2 to 8 p.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
