Chili feed, silent auction benefit April 18

GRANDVIEW – A chili feed and silent auction to help Grandview High School senior Jacqueline Jimenez, who is currently being treated for cancer at Children’s Hospital in Seattle, will take place on Saturday, April 18.

The benefit is being organized by her classmate, A.J. Trinidad, as his senior project.

Jimenez has been staying at Ronald McDonald House since being diagnosed with cancer this past February.

Trinidad said donations will be accepted for each bowl of chili served at the benefit.

He is also accepting silent auction items to be placed for bid on April 18.

The event will take place at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview at 5 p.m.
