SHS auto shop instructor honored

Sunnyside High School automotive shop instructor Nick Paulakis (second from the right) was named the Washington State Advisor of the Year by the SkillsUSA Washington organization at the recent 
SkillsUSA conference in Tacoma. A long-time automotive department head, Paulakis was selected for the honor based on his efforts to promote leadership among his students, in addition to providing them with state of the art automotive skills instruction.
