Lower Valley men named as suspects in homicide at Pasco club

PASCO – A shooting death at a Pasco club early Sunday morning has resulted in two Lower Valley men being held at the Franklin County jail as suspects.

Pasco police initially reported 19-year-old Eduardo Angon Del Villar of Pasco was in critical condition at Lourdes Medical Center after being shot several times at the Tropicana Night Club at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police arriving at the scene stopped a vehicle nearby that they said was involved. Two suspects were arrested from that vehicle and a firearm recovered.

Initially booked into the Franklin County Jail on requested assault charges were Santos Flores Alcaide, 18, of Grandview and Enrique Alcaide, 22, of Sunnyside.

When Del Villar died a few hours later, Pasco police announced the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.

Both Lower Valley men are being held for requested charges of first degree murder, according to Franklin County jail records.

Santos Flores Alcaide is also being held on a charge of possessing a stolen handgun, police said.

Both men are tentatively scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court today, Monday, according to the county clerk’s office.
