School music offered locally

— The halls are alive with holiday music this week at local schools.

The Sunnyside School District will feature several concerts tomorrow.

They include:

  • Pioneer Elementary School fourth- and fifth-grade concert, 7 p.m. school gymnasium.
  • Chief Kamiakin Elementary School fifth-grade concert, 6 p.m., school gymnasium, 1700 E. Lincoln Ave.
  • Sunnyside High School orchestra and mariachi concert, 7 p.m., high school auditorium, 1801 E. Edison Ave.

The Harrison Middle School concert will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the high school auditorium.

In the Grandview School District, holiday shows start at 6:30 tonight with a middle school winter concert.

Concerts tomorrow in Grandview schools are 6:30 p.m. musical programs at Harriett Thompson Elementary School, 1105 W. Second St., featuring the fourth- and fifth-grade students and McClure Elementary School’s first-, second- and third-graders.

Grandview’s Wednesday night concerts feature second- and fourth-grade Christmas programs at 6:30 p.m. and a 7 p.m. Grandview High School winter concert.

Grandview families can also attend a 6:30 p.m. Thursday concert combining kindergarten, fifth-grade and Trudy Syllings’ class at McClure Elementary School.
