GRANDVIEW – Motorists will soon be able to give their dirty vehicles a state-of-the-art car washing experience when the Castle Car Wash opens in Grandview.
Franchise owner Brian Dreher of Yakima said the new 24-hour facility will be opening within the next couple of weeks.
“We are still working out a few kinks,” he said.
The attractively landscaped facility, located at the corner of Avenue A and Wine Country Road, is hard to miss. It features a large, castle-like structure, landscaped areas and a long row of looped, bright blue vacuum hoses at a series of stations.
Dreher, whose family has been in the business of keeping cars clean since the early 1990s, also owns the GTO Car Wash in Yakima and a Castle Car Wash in Selah. His Grandview car wash, like his Selah operation, will be attendant-free.
He said customers will be able to pay for cleaning their family cars with credit or debit cards, as well as with cash.
Dreher said the cost of a Castle Car Wash ranges in price from $6 to $12, which includes a hot wax and a free vacuum token.
