YAKIMA With a couple of leading scorers missing from the Grizzlies’ line-up yesterday, Eisenhower won the bowling match-up at Nob Hill Lanes, 1807-1476.
Stephanie Herrera, Mina Gatica, Bianca Molina, Cassie Garcia and Megan Kinney bowled for Sunnyside.
Bailey Bickett wasn’t among the varsity bowlers.
Sam Hugill of the Cadets was the high scorer. She rolled a combined 352 (161-191). Also breaking the 300-pin, mark was Baylee Summers — 321 (142-179) — of Eisenhower and Sunnyside’s Megan Kinney — 313 (179-134).
Sunnyside had a team score of 669, while Eisenhower had a 732 in the first game. In the second game, the Grizzlies combined for 525 pins, and the Cadets had 785.
Eisenhower added 144 and 146 in the Baker games. Sunnyside’s Baker scores were 146 and 135.
Herrera knocked down a combined 189 pins, Gatica rolled a 201, Molina bowled 224 and Garcia scored 268 between the two games.
The Grizzlies travel to Wenatchee on Tuesday.
