Weather changes concerts and tutoring schedules

— Winter weather slated to hit the area tonight has caused several events in the School District to be rescheduled, school officials announced.

Evening concerts at McClure Elementary School’s Christmas programs took place today, cancelling out the previously scheduled evening performances.

The program featured the school’s kindergarten and fifth grade classes, as well as Mrs. Sylling’s class

After-school tutoring was also canceled for the week.

All after-school tutoring at Harriet Thompson Elementary School has also been canceled for the week.

The school’s Winter Choir and Marimba Concert originally set for Thursday evening has been rescheduled to sometime in January.

Harriet Thompson school choir practice was also canceled this afternoon.

Grandview Middle School’s band, choir and mariachi winter concert originally scheduled to take place on Dec. 12, was rescheduled. It will now take place at 7 p.m. on Jan. 9.

Grandview School District will be on winter holiday Dec. 19 through Jan. 2.
